📋 Overzicht
GridPulse is een iOS-app die actuele dag-vooruit energieprijzen toont op basis van gegevens van het ENTSO-E Transparency Platform. Uw privacy staat bij ons centraal: GridPulse verzamelt, verwerkt of deelt geen persoonlijke gegevens.
🔒 Gegevens die wij NIET verzamelen
GridPulse verzamelt de volgende gegevens niet:
- Naam, e-mailadres of andere identificerende gegevens
- Locatiegegevens (GPS of IP-locatie)
- Apparaat-ID's, advertentie-ID's of vingerafdrukken
- Gebruiksstatistieken, crashlogs of analytische gegevens
- Financiële gegevens of betaalinformatie
- Contacten, foto's of andere apparaatinhoud
📱 Lokale opslag
GridPulse slaat een beperkt aantal gebruikersvoorkeuren uitsluitend
lokaal op uw apparaat op via UserDefaults (App Group gedeeld met de widget).
Deze gegevens verlaten uw apparaat nooit.
- Geselecteerd land / ENTSO-E-zone
- Weergave-instelling (€/kWh of €ct/kWh)
- Totaalprijs-modus en leveranciersopslag
- Drempelwaarde en voorkeur voor prijsnotificaties
- Themavoorkeur (donker/licht)
- Gecachede energieprijzen van de huidige dag
Al deze gegevens kunt u te allen tijde verwijderen door de app te de-installeren.
🌐 Netwerkcommunicatie
GridPulse maakt uitsluitend verbinding met de ENTSO-E Transparency
Platform API (web-api.tp.entsoe.eu) om dag-vooruit
elektriciteitsprijzen op te halen.
- Alleen energieprijsgegevens worden opgehaald — geen persoonlijke gegevens verstuurd
- Het verzoek bevat uitsluitend een API-token en de gevraagde tijdsrange
- Er worden geen cookies, sessie-ID's of tracking-headers meegestuurd
- Er is geen communicatie met advertentie- of analysenetwerken

🔔 Lokale notificaties
GridPulse kan lokale push-notificaties sturen wanneer de energieprijs onder uw ingestelde drempelwaarde daalt. Deze notificaties worden volledig lokaal op uw apparaat aangemaakt — er is geen externe server bij betrokken. U kunt notificaties te allen tijde uitschakelen via de app-instellingen of de iOS-systeeminstellingen.
🧩 Widgets
De WidgetKit-extensie deelt dezelfde lokale gegevensopslag (App Group) als de hoofdapp. Er worden geen aanvullende gegevens verzameld of verstuurd. De widget leest uitsluitend de gecachede prijzen en uw voorkeuren.
👶 Kinderen
GridPulse verzamelt geen gegevens en is geschikt voor alle leeftijden. De app bevat geen leeftijdsbeperkte inhoud.
🔄 Wijzigingen in dit beleid
Mochten wij dit privacybeleid wijzigen, dan publiceren wij de nieuwe versie op deze pagina met een bijgewerkte datum. Wij raden u aan dit beleid periodiek te raadplegen. Wijzigingen treden in werking zodra zij op deze pagina zijn gepubliceerd.

GridPulse is an iOS app that displays live day-ahead electricity prices sourced from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform. Your privacy is our priority: GridPulse does not collect, process, or share any personal data.
🔒 Data we do NOT collect
GridPulse does not collect any of the following:
- Name, email address, or other identifying information
- Location data (GPS or IP-based)
- Device IDs, advertising IDs, or fingerprints
- Usage statistics, crash reports, or analytics
- Financial data or payment information
- Contacts, photos, or other device content
📱 Local storage
GridPulse stores a small set of user preferences exclusively
on your device using UserDefaults (shared via an App Group with
the widget extension). This data never leaves your device.
- Selected country / ENTSO-E bidding zone
- Display preference (€/kWh or €ct/kWh)
- All-in price mode and supplier margin
- Notification threshold and preference
- Theme preference (dark / light)
- Cached energy prices for the current day
You can delete all of this data at any time by uninstalling the app.
🌐 Network communication
GridPulse exclusively connects to the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform
API (web-api.tp.entsoe.eu) to retrieve day-ahead
electricity prices.
- Only energy price data is retrieved — no personal data is sent
- Requests contain only an API token and the requested time range
- No cookies, session IDs, or tracking headers are transmitted
- No communication with advertising or analytics networks

🔔 Local notifications
GridPulse can send local push notifications when the energy price drops below your chosen threshold. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no external server is involved. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or in the iOS system settings.
🧩 Widgets
The WidgetKit extension shares the same local data store (App Group) as the main app. No additional data is collected or transmitted. The widget only reads cached prices and your preferences.
👶 Children
GridPulse collects no data and is appropriate for all ages. The app contains no age-restricted content.
🔄 Changes to this policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will publish the new version on this page with an updated date. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page.
